Saving gas by improving gas mileage
For me, one of the most important things is improving gas mileage for my car, because recently I have found it more and more difficult to pay my gas bills, especially seeing the gas prices seem to carry on going up and show no signs of coming down again. I didn’t really know how to save on gas, but after taking some tips from a friend I learned that there are things you can do in your driving style to make sure that you don’t waste gas. One of these is to simply drive at a lower speed, because accelerating and then using the brakes really does use up much more gas than when you drive slowly. I’ve been doing this for just a couple of months now and I can already see that I am saving on gas because I don’t have to go to the fuel pumps as often as I did.
