Make sure you have one in your winter chalet
My boss loves to take trips to New England to enjoy skiing during the wintertime — he and his wife have rented out a winter chalet just for this purpose. I was surprised to learn that he and his wife also take two extra portable toilets with them. When asked them why they did this, he replied that they take these extra toilets with them in case the water pipes freeze due to the cold — I hadn’t thought of that. That got me to thinking: perhaps I should also buy one or two of these units to keep in storage, just in case the same thing should happen in my own home during the cold winter months.
