Wish I Had Gotten Whole Life Insurance
I am very frustrated. I first got a term life insurance policy shortly after my wife and I married, when I was 22. It was all we could afford at the time, but it was always my intention to convert it to a whole life insurance policy a little later. Well, time flies, and I never did it. As a result, my term policy will expire next year, and I have nothing to show for it. I have wasted thousands of dollars that could have been rightfully mine. Now, with a couple teenage dependents and a wife ad mortgage, I am forced into a very expensive second policy.
