My little sister was born with Congenital Scoliosis. My entire family doesn’t have one other person in it that has any form of scoliosis, so this diagnosis came as a bit of a shock to us. We didn’t really know anything about scoliosis when we first heard except that it was a curvature of the spine. It turns out the it is not only a curvature of the spine but a rotation of the spinal column too making it a more difficult issue to resolve. Thankfully there are many courses of actions to help correct this and we are sifting through the options right now.
