A six week double blind study of healthy subjects ingesting either, the medicinal supplement MC-S or a placebo. The study was designed to evaluate if there was any difference in the number of days experiencing symptoms of winter related illnesses such as colds, influenza or secondary infections between the two groups. A statistical analysis using Two-sample t-test with equal variances and the Mann-Whitney non-parametric test both produced a significant result. Conclusion, these highly encouraging results suggest the blend of nutraceuticals used in MC-S could be of use in reducing the incidence of winter related illness.
