I am hard of hearing, and I wear hearing aids. I am bad about keeping track of the batteries for them. I have hearing aid batteries lying all over the house. I take out batteries that are dead, and I put in new batteries. I leave the old batteries lying around, and I leave the remaining batteries in the pack lying around as well. Later, I forget which ones are garbage and which ones are good. I have to put them in my hearing aid to see if they work.
