Kids and Christmas
I am the Mom of two boys and Christmas is a busy, exciting time. I am trying to teach my boys that presents for christmas come in all shapes and sizes. I don’t think Christmas all has to come from a store, and I know in this economy it can’t. I also am a believer in traditions, even a small one can mean a lot. We read a special Christmas story on Christmas eve before we go to bed. Presents are great but remember home made can be special too. I have had some of my fondest times making stained glass ornaments and candy cane reindeer with the boys. We bake cookies and breads and make tons of fudge. We made special ornaments to wrap on our packages. Christmas is for kids and for family, so any presents can be extra special if it comes with love.
