It is important to get them a warm enough place, say a room with a temperature of about 70-75 degrees. Make sure that this temperature is consistent even when the mother leaves the pups. Always keep food and water available to the mother dogs and dog supplies and her pups. Make sure that the room is free of drafts when the pups are maturing.
Take time out to check on the pups once in a while. Try to make sure that they are getting enough nutrition.
