Visiting Family in the Adirondack Mountains
Some of my family recently moved to Lake Placid in the Adirondack Mountains, and last week was the first time I had a chance to go up and see their new home. I was convinced that I wasn’t going to want to stay up there any longer than I had to since it’s all trees and mountains, so what is there to do? However, once I arrived, I found that the Adirondack Mountains are a great place to visit! The area is incredibly beautiful, and any nature lovers would have a blast with all the wildlife around. I’m more of a sports oriented person, so I found the water-skiing, hiking, and white water rafting to be more up my alley. I had so much fun with my family, and I really didn’t want to leave when it was time to go. I will most certainly make a point of going back at least once every year!
