What Is Hooters Airline?
Several years ago, the restaurant, Hooters, opened up their own airline in order to fly golfers into the Myrtle Beach area. Although Hooters Airline was not necessarily owned by Hooters itself, they did rent a few planes and had them painted with the Hooters logo. They were never really interested in getting into the airline business, they were simply interested in making sure that awareness about their restaurant business was raised to a new level. The flights lasted for several years until they finally ended in 2007 because of economic difficulties with the rising price of gas.
